Your Body Mind Deserves Yoga For Lunch

Yoga is intended to be a refuge, not another fast-paced high demand activity on the never-ending to-do list within which we so often feel trapped. Breath, Movement and Rest are the three essential ingredients for a nourishing yoga lunch break, a time out of the stressed and pressed sandwich of doing and an opportunity for a soothing slice of being. Your body mind deserves Yoga For Lunch!

  • Breathe: Coming to the yoga mat in the middle of a busy day, it’s important that we begin by catching our breath. We lie down in a position of comfort and ease that allows the chest and the belly to gently open to the breath. We take 10 mins to gradually drop out of the swirling mind and into the presence of aliveness in the body and to arrive and settle into a functional breath pattern.

  • Move: Once we have arrived home to the breath in the body, we begin to re-activate. We’ll move for about 30 minutes, exploring some dynamic postures to release tension in the hips and shoulders, inviting a full circulation of prana (life force) from head to toe. Our mission is to address the physical and psychological stresses of modern living, especially the modern workplace, by realigning structurally, recalibrating energetically, and restoring our mental and emotional balance.

  • Rest: We’ll end with a restorative yoga pose* and a short guided meditation before allowing some time for quiet integration. *This means using props like blankets and bolsters to establish the body in a position of total and complete comfort for deep relaxation for a minimum of 15 minutes. Who Is This Class For?

This is an all levels class and so anyone can join. The aim is to explore functional movements that are relatively accessible for all in order to circulate energy and cultivate a strong but supple body.

 

Pricing And Booking

You Must Book Online to Secure Your Spot

There are three price options For Yoga For Lunch :

  • Single Class €15

  • 4 Class Pass: €50. This works out to €12.50 per class. It is can be used for both Monday and Thursday classes and is valid for 2 months This is the most flexible option.

  • Monthly Unlimited: €75 (works out to less than €10 per class). Expires one month after first use so motivates you to stick with a bi-weekly practice. This is the best value for money.

These options apply to Yoga For Lunch Classes ONLY and cannot be transferred to any other Yoga Home Sligo classes, courses or workshops.
