Join us for this special pre-marathon course of two workshops which will supply you with some yoga tools and techniques to optimally prepare for and recover from your intense training runs and the big day itself. However, you don't need to be preparing for a big event to benefit from this course; any runner will reap rewards from this workshop.
We'll use a range of approaches such as pranayama (yogic breathing), yoga asana (poses), myofascial release with yoga therapy balls & restorative yoga to care for the whole body, the muscular skeletal system and the nervous system. We'll both strengthen & stretch target areas, relax and release through the whole bodymind and deeply rest so that the body fully emerges restored and revitalised after your practice and yo can carry these tools in your preparation and recovery on the big day!
The course breaks the work down into two workshops which will cover feet, lower legs, knees, upper legs and hip over two sessions. While some material may be repeated, the workshops will not simply be repeats, but rather we'll build on what was covered in the first.
