This 6 week course is an introduction to the fundamentals of Dynamic Yoga Flow, so it's perfect for those brand new to the practice of yoga who are looking for a combination of active flow and careful alignment. We will explore classic Sun Salutation variations and play with standing poses with a slow, steady but active flow to build heat and strength while cultivating cultivate mobility in a dynamic but sustainable way. This course will also work well for those returning after some time away and/or regular practitioners who would like a refresher in the key aspects of alignment that respects the bodies natural architecture and keeps our flow practice safe over time
We'll work with breath, dynamic movement and finish each session with integrating rest. You’ll learn to both release stress and tension while building strength, resilience and courage in body mind and heart.
All beginning classes at Yoga hOMe Sligo will vary from course to course in their particular postural focus and content, so that a student can benefit from taking multiple beginning courses.
