This is an all levels practice with an emphasis on finding balance and connection amid the ups and downs of the busy end of year activity. We will be moving mindfully amid the distractions of the season, re-aligning our awareness back into the present through the body and the breath, and learning tools to deal with some of the emotions that can arise during this intense time of year.
We shall begin in by tuning into breath and body in stillness before transitioning to a more dynamic movement practice. The pace will be easeful but the actions potent, inviting the body to release tension and tightness, allowing the mind to settle and the heart to open. We'll finish with some restorative poses, a nice long savasana (resting pose) and a closing meditation that will help set intentions for the new year.
